In the city of Rajkot, in the year 1944, a visionary named Raichand Premchand Shah, affectionately known as “Bapuji,” laid the foundation of our esteemed silver jewelry house. With just three employees and a modest capital from Botad, Bapuji embarked on a journey to redefine craftsmanship and elegance in the world of silver jewelry. Focusing on silver ornaments, Bapuji traversed the length and breadth of Gujarat, building his brand through strategic marketing and customer-centric approaches. His dedication and passion laid the groundwork for the legacy that followed.

In 1962, the reins of the business were passed on to his son, Arvindbhai Raichand Shah, who brought a new wave of expansion and innovation. Arvindbhai’s vision led to the introduction of casting silver jewelry in India, setting a precedent for the industry. With increased capital and strategic investments, he propelled the business to new heights, pioneering semi-manufacturing and outsourcing. Moreover, he traveled through the locations of India to understand the market of silver industry, and understand where Shah Raichand Premchand & Co stand, and learnt to imply experiences and tales of the silver industry and take the business to new heights.

With his entry, Shah Raichand Premchand & Co diversified into multiple departments, excluding silver. Hiteshbhai’s focus on capital expansion and semi-in house production saw the company flourish, expanding its workforce to around 50 employees by 2010.
2020
In 2020, the legacy continued with the fourth generation as Hitanshu Hiteshbhai Shah infused fresh perspectives into the business. Embracing the fusion of tradition and technology, Hitanshu joined the market of 9.25 silver jewelry and founded Silvogue, a testament to the family’s commitment to innovation. His endeavors took him to Italy for a specialized jewelry design and gemology course, enriching his expertise further.
Concurrently, the great-granddaughter of Bapuji, Heer Hiteshbhai Shah, carved her path in the industry. Pursuing a BA in Jewelry Design and Gemology in Bombay, Heer gained invaluable experience in Surat’s diamond industry, fostering her passion for exquisite craftsmanship. Founded Heer(a) and now spearheading “House of Shah,” Heer is a shining example of the family’s entrepreneurial spirit.
